OBJECT HEAVY

NO PARDON

JAMES ZELLER TRIO

Object Heavy is Humboldt County’s premier hard-hitting Soul sensation. 2018 sparked a new direction for Object Heavy with the release of their newest EP Transitions (featuring John Popper of Blues Traveler, Fred Wesley of James Brown fame, and more). They played a steady stream of sold-out performances throughout the Pacific Northwest, including shows in support of West Coast Funk and Soul standouts Orgone and Polyrhythmics. With powerhouse vocalist Richard Love at the helm, the band is on fire cruising into 2019. Object Heavy’s magnetic blend of classic Cadillac Soul, effortlessly contagious dance grooves and blazing musicianship is a live experience that you don’t want to miss!

No Pardon

No Pardon is an indie folk band from Eureka, CA. Three friends make their rhythm and rhyme in songs about life, heartache, mystery, and introverted love. Guitar, fiddle, and upright bass form the foundation of their sound, with original and thoughtful vocal lines interweaving melodies throughout. From dynamic melancholy and heartfelt songwriting to rollickin’ roots fiddle tunes, listeners can find a little bit of everything in this trio. There is a slight side-step into rock n roll. There is a spirit of youthful philosophical pondering, a nod to the wilderness, and a toast to living the dream in Northern California. After 3 years as a band, and one EP in the books, No Pardon will release their first full-length album 'Whisper’. The 12 songs on 'Whisper' showcase the bands’ dedication to their roots, and also offer a glimpse into their explorative side. The band is thrilled to have appearances of several guest artists on the album: Sam Kaplan-Good on drums; Summer McCall on cello; Lyndsey Battle, Hannah Rosencrans and Allison Anders on harmony vocals; Cory Goldman on banjo; and Marc Jeffares on keys and vocals.
